Arag microjet rate tables

A new variety of Arag microjets is available to ginseng growers.

They are an improvement over the older version insofar as they are more easily calibrated and held at a given rate thanks to a lock nut. They are still, however, somewhat finicky when trying to set a consistent spray quality and rate from nozzle to nozzle. You can read more about spraying ginseng here and watch a short video here.

They still employ a 1.5 mm diameter ceramic disc, but this can be changed for a 1.0 or 1.2 quite easily.

The following tables are designed to allow the operator to determine their application volume based on pressure and driving speed. The tables assume an ~11″ spacing, which is fairly common in Ontario.
