About Dan Martin
Dr. Dan Martin has been a Research Agricultural Engineer with USDA-ARS since 2004. Prior to that, he directed the aerial application program for the state of Louisiana for 10 years. Dan’s research areas of interest include variable-rate aerial application, improved spray deposition and efficacy as well as targeted spray applications. He helped establish and still currently leads coordination efforts for the Remotely Piloted Aerial Application Systems (RPAAS) workshop each year. When he’s not flying drones, he’s usually out playing volleyball with his friends.
